Birthday Cards for Teacher

A teacher's birthday is a class event — and a printable card the students color themselves beats anything from a store shelf. Most of this set is coloring-page line art built for exactly that: cupcakes with a pencil and ruler, a classroom of kids holding up a birthday sign, a teacher holding a cake by the whiteboard, and a whole class party with balloons and gifts.

If you'd rather hand over something finished, there's a soft pastel birthday cake, an elegant balloon design with a thank-you verse, and a clean flat card with school icons around 'to my most wonderful teacher.'

Each design opens in the free maker, where a student — or the whole class — can put their own message inside before printing.

How to print and fold

No special supplies — just your printer and about two minutes.

  1. Customize your cardAdd your photo or artwork and type your message in the Foldy Cards editor. It's free and there's no account to create.
  2. Download the PDFDownload the ready-to-print PDF to your phone or computer. You can email it to yourself and print from anywhere.
  3. Print on letter paperPrint the single page on standard 8.5 x 11 in letter paper. Regular printer paper works; slightly heavier paper makes a sturdier card.
  4. Fold in half twiceFold the sheet in half, then in half again, and the panels line up into a folded card. Start to finish takes about two minutes.

Frequently asked questions

Are there teacher birthday cards students can color in?
Yes — five of the eight designs are black-and-white coloring pages, including a classroom scene, a teacher with a cake, and a class party. Students color them in before the card is folded.
Can the whole class sign the card?
The inside message is fully editable, so you can list the class name or write a group message. For many signatures, print the card and have students sign the inside panels by hand.
What paper should we print a teacher card on?
Standard 8.5 × 11 inch letter paper works — the card prints on one page and folds in half twice, so it works with any home or classroom printer.
